The CZ 527 Varmint retains all of the features that made the 527 famous, from its controlled round feed and claw extractor to its single set trigger and hammer forged barrel. Scope mounts are integrated into a forged, square bridge receiver (rings not included), and the rifle comes with a 5-round detachable box magazine.

Current production 527 in .223 have the SKU 03072 and in recent years have shipped in both 24″ and 25.6″ barreled versions.

The CZ 527 Varmint rifle is a manual repeater weapon.

The heavy barrel benefits from precise and careful machining for remarkable results in terms of precision. Barrel and housing received a sober and elegant bronzed finish.

The removable sheet steel magazine has a capacity of 5 cartridges.

Long-range marksmanship requires a light and flexible trigger, which is why the CZ 527 Varmint is equipped with a stecher aimed at reducing the starting weight but also the trigger tail stroke.

The rifle is also equipped with a safety lever which locks the bolt in the locked position to prevent accidental firing once the rifle is cocked.

Without open sights, the CZ 527 nevertheless has a 16 mm CZ mounting rail allowing the addition of a rifle scope of your choice with a suitable mounting.
